Welcome to the World of Dappies!
Dappies are rare, endangered creatures, each linked to a specific challenge category. Every Dappy has unique skills that make it more or less suited to different types of actions.
Buy an NFT Egg Each egg comes with different odds of containing one of the Dappies. Before purchasing, you can preview the Dappies’ stats and decide which one you'd prefer—though the final outcome remains a surprise!
Review your Dappie’s abilities Every Dappy has 4 skills (one for each category), shown as bars with numerical values. The higher the number, the fewer actions you’ll need to complete in that category to level up.
Not a fan of the Dappy you got? No worries: you can buy a Magic Dice and try your luck with a new pet!
The game runs in weekly rounds, just like in the VeBetterDAO ecosystem. Each round, you can level up to 4 times: once per category. To level up in a category, you must complete all required challenges on dApps related to that theme. Dappies, by their nature, are more skilled in certain categories. This means they will need to complete few more actions to finish those categories they're skilled in, compared to others. Each time you complete a challenge, you’ll be able to interact with your Dappy: feed it, make it read, train it, or let it rest… and keep it happy!
At the end of each round, you receive B3TR rewards based on the level you reached during the previous week:
0 categories completed: no boost (0%)
Level 1: 1x B3TR boost
Level 2: 1.5x B3TR boost
Level 3: 2x B3TR boost
Level 4: 2.5x B3TR boost
When the round ends, progress resets and a new challenge starts — giving you fresh chances to climb higher, unlock bigger boosts, and maximize your B3TR.
Be careful: unclaimed rewards expire at the end of each round!
Your Dappy can gain permanent action points over time, making it more efficient:
Each time you complete a category, there’s a chance to earn a permanent action point, an upgrade that reduces the number of required challenges in that category for future rounds.
A cap on these bonuses ensures fair and balanced gameplay.
We’re just getting started! Soon, you’ll be able to trade your Dappies on a dedicated marketplace, perfect for finding that special creature you’ve been hunting for, or giving someone else the chance to raise your old companion. But that’s not all: we’re also working on in-app challenges. These missions will count as official actions in specific categories, giving you new ways to level up your Dappy directly within the app, so jumping between different platforms is not needed.
